Decentralized Identity
for Mission-Critical Operations

A set of tools for developers that can be used to facilitate trusted and secure relationships between apps and users.

Dark Matter Logo
Dark Matter is a blockchain-based, self-sovereign and private identity platform powered by zero-knowledge cryptography. It enables decentralized and scalable verification, reputation and access services for Web3 apps and users.

The Dark Matter Solution

Issue

Issue and explore credentials.

Issuers can build verifiable credentials about identity. These can include common form-fill metadata, proof of membership to a group, government documents, and more.

Users can claim credentials and verifiers can accept them.

Store

Store and manage your credentials.

Users can claim, store, and manage credentials. Choose what information is shared when the credentials are used.

Example: A user can prove their name and age with a verifiable credential without revealing their exact date of birth.

Verify

Authenticate users based on credentials.

dApps can integrate Dark Matter components to verify user credentials and help meet ICAM requirements.

Dark Matter leverages web3 technology to reduce complexity that comes with the use of Circom 2.0 to compile zero-knowledge cryptographic constructions known as zkSNARKs circuits. On-chain private verification is done using zkProof Request Language, a unique protocol for apps to specify the requested private attributes that the user needs to prove.
